Lot 262: A Collection of Vintage Steel Wood and Plastic Garden and Site Maintenance Tools
A collection of vintage steel, wood, and plastic garden and site maintenance tools, comprising various utilitarian implements. The group features a green plastic leaf rake with a tubular metal handle, a four-tine garden fork with a wooden shaft and green plastic D-shaped grip, and a square-mouth metal shovel with a chrome-finished tubular handle. Also included is an outdoor broom with black synthetic bristles and a grey metal handle, a sledgehammer with a heavy cast iron head and weathered wooden handle, and a mattock head mounted on a yellow handle. The lot is completed by a loose round-mouth shovel head and an additional long green tool shaft. The digits 7290 are inscribed in black marker on the yellow handles and the red handle end, with faint corresponding marks on the green rake handle, appearing as temporary inventory markings; no manufacturer marks or maker names are legible on any of the components.
