An antique late Victorian / early 20th century sheet metal steamer trunk, featuring a lithographed faux wood-grain finish designed to simulate timber. The trunk is constructed with a distinctive dome-top lid and is reinforced with integrated vertical and horizontal metal banding and decorative ribbing. It is fitted with heavy-duty metal swing-drop handles on either side for transport.
