A vintage Silver-Reed Electric 2200 CR portable typewriter manufactured in Japan. The unit is housed within its original textured black plastic carrying case featuring an integrated handle and internal storage for the power cord. The typewriter is equipped with a standard black QWERTY keyboard with white lettering, including fractional characters. A red rocker power switch is positioned at the lower-left front of the keyboard deck. The machine bears the logo and name SILVER-REED in white block lettering to the left and the model designation ELECTRIC 2200 CR to the right. The interior of the case lid is embossed with the text MADE IN JAPAN. A white adhesive inventory label reading Lot 350 is present on the side of the exterior case.
