Lot 436: A Vintage Nikko Dune Tiger RC Buggy and Plastic Slot Car Racing Collection
A vintage collection of radio-controlled and slot car racing toys, including a Nikko Dune Tiger off-road buggy and various track components. The Nikko buggy features a moulded purple plastic body shell fitted with a bright yellow plastic roll cage and oversized rubber tyres. The vehicle is decorated with several multi-coloured adhesive labels, including a large green and yellow rear wing printed with Dune Tiger Turbo Fighting Spirit and a body marked NIKKO, DUNE Tiger, OFF ROAD, and SUPER BUGGY 8. The racing set components consist of multiple sections of black textured plastic track with parallel metal rails, accompanied by a black plastic hand-held thumb-trigger controller. Also included is a blue plastic body shell for a Jaguar XJ220 racing car, bearing number 11 and JAGUAR SPORT decals, and the fragmentary remains of a red Formula 1 style vehicle. A white adhesive auction label on the green plastic storage crate reads HCP Auctions South West and is numbered 118. A clear plastic retail carrier bag is printed with the text FRENCH CONNECTION in black capital letters.
