Lot 495: A Vintage Jiepai White Porcelain Thirteen-Piece Tea Set
A vintage Jiepai white porcelain thirteen-piece tea set, produced for the export market. The collection consists of a teapot, four teacups, four saucers, and four side plates, all characterized by a moulded fluted or swirled design. The teacups are fitted with bamboo-style handles. The set is decorated with a monochrome grey floral transfer-printed border, appearing on the teapot body, its lid, and the rims of the side plates, while the teacups and saucers are finished in a plain white glaze. The underside of the teapot features a brown printed mark in a scroll cartouche containing the text MADE IN CHINA and the characters 中國界牌. A handwritten inventory note is included, identifying the lot as a Silver chinese T. Set.
