Lot 499: A Collection of Vintage Spode Italian Pattern Earthenware and Household Collectibles
A collection of vintage Spode Italian pattern earthenware and household collectibles. This assembly includes two large blue and white transferware pitchers alongside several terracotta vessels, featuring a lidded jar and a glazed flower frog. The grouping is further composed of a wooden mortar and pestle, various ceramic bowls, and mixed glassware, including a cut-crystal vase, a pink pressed glass trumpet vase, and a Pyrex measuring jug. One pitcher bears a blue printed oval mark to the underside reading COPELAND SPODE’S ITALIAN ENGLAND accompanied by the numerals 67. A ceramic base within the lot carries a green circular adhesive label reading Made in Devon by Miller-David Ceramics. Two serving spoons with green ceramic handles decorated with rose motifs are also present.
