Lot 980: Two Vintage The World at War and The Century of Warfare DVD Box Sets
Two vintage documentary DVD box sets, comprising The World at War 30th Anniversary Limited Edition and The Century of Warfare. The World at War set includes five individual DVD cases, sequentially numbered from one to five, alongside a companion paperback book by Mark Arnold-Forster. This book is published by Pimlico and features a printed dolphin logo at the base of the spine. The outer presentation box for this set is designed with a decorative rivet-style border and the series title contained within a square cartouche. The Century of Warfare set is presented in a navy blue slipcase with yellow lettering. A white adhesive auction label is present on the front of the blue slipcase, reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 980. The individual DVD cases within the sets bear the printed DVD VIDEO logo.
Condition report:
The outer collector\'s box for The World at War shows visible shelf wear, including scuffing and whitening at the corners and along the edges (photo 1). The Century of Warfare slipcase exhibits minor edge wear and surface scuffs (photo 1). The interior DVD cases and the spine of the companion book appear to be in good condition (photo 2).
