Lot 517: A Trio of Vintage Metal and Leatherette Binoculars
A trio of vintage metal and leatherette binoculars from the mid-20th century, presented with an associated large black leather carrying case. The collection includes a pair of large-aperture binoculars marked in printed white characters HARD COATED LENSES and 7X50 on the shoulders. A second pair features a partial printed white maker’s mark reading LIEBERM. The third and most compact pair is marked in white 10 x 35 and COATED. One pair includes a central hinge cap with circular white text reading EMPIRE MADE. Each instrument is constructed with a metal frame and finished with a textured black leatherette covering, with various brown leather neck straps attached. The accompanying case is fashioned from black leather with a red textile lining and features a metal stud fastener and an adjustable leather shoulder strap. A white adhesive lot tag numbered 517 is adhered to the case exterior.
