Lot 1010: A Vintage Oak Two-Door Storage Cabinet
A vintage oak two-door storage cabinet, of rectangular form and likely intended for tabletop or wall-mounted utility storage. The unit is constructed from particle board finished in a light oak-effect laminate. It features two flush-fitting doors that open on simple metal hinges and are secured by internal magnetic catches. Each door is fitted with a decorative clear faceted glass or acrylic knob with a chrome-effect base. The interior space is vertically divided into two equal compartments by a fixed central shelf. The side panels show visible recessed silver-toned screw heads characteristic of flat-pack furniture construction. A white adhesive rectangular label is affixed to the lower front corner of the left-side panel, which reads HCP Auctions South West and Lot 1010.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
Condition report:
The cabinet is in used condition with signs of light wear throughout. There are several visible surface scratches and scuffs on the exterior of the left-side panel (photo 3). The laminate finish on the doors shows minor surface marks and small localized stains (photo 1). General light wear and small nicks are visible along the laminate edges, consistent with second-hand utility furniture (photo 2).
