Lot 1011: A Vintage Light Oak-effect and Metal L-shaped Pedestal Desk
A vintage light oak-effect and metal L-shaped pedestal desk, of modular construction for professional or home office use. The desk features a large rectangular work surface with a circular black plastic cable management grommet to one corner. It is supported by two integrated three-drawer pedestals, constructed with dark grey painted metal frames and oak-effect laminate drawer fronts. Each pedestal unit is fitted with dark-toned recessed horizontal drawer pulls, and the uppermost drawer in each stack includes a barrel lock. The desk is held by a dark grey powder-coated metal sub-frame and matching legs. A white adhesive inventory label reading ‘1011’ is applied to the front of one pedestal, and a further label reading ‘1080’ is present on the top surface. No maker’s marks are legible on the item.

Condition report:
The desk is in good used condition with signs of wear consistent with office use. Minor surface scuffs and light scratches are visible to the laminate worktop (photo 4). The dark grey metal frame shows light scuffing, particularly around the feet (photo 1). The drawer units appear to operate smoothly. While barrel locks are present on the top drawers (photo 2), no keys are visible or included in the lot.
