Lot 572: A Collection of Vintage Marigold Carnival Glass Bowls
A collection of six vintage marigold carnival glass bowls in patterns including Imperial Grape. This group of iridescent pressed glassware features a metallic marigold lustre applied over an amber glass body. The collection includes a large ruffled bowl in the Imperial Grape pattern, featuring an embossed central cluster of grapes and vine leaves within a diamond-faceted border. There is also a medium-sized footed bowl with a scroll embossed foliate pattern and a ruffled rim. The remaining four pieces comprise smaller bowls and dishes decorated with varied internal patterns including sunburst ribbing and floral scrolls. All items are produced using a moulding process and do not exhibit pontil marks.
