Lot 1164: Anne Graham 'Primroses' and a Vintage Wood Relief Sunflower Panel (Signed)
A pair of vintage framed artworks, comprising a limited edition print titled Primroses by Anne Graham and a three-dimensional wood relief sculpture depicting a bouquet of sunflowers. The print is a watercolour-style still life on paper, featuring a glass vase of wildflowers alongside a bowl of citrus fruit. It is professionally mounted behind glass in a light-toned wooden frame with a wide off-white card mount. The relief sculpture is composed of multiple hand-finished wooden elements in various grains and tones to create a textured, three-dimensional effect, set against a plain wood background. It is housed in a substantial, multi-stepped dark wood frame. The print is inscribed 401/850 to the lower left, titled Primroses in the centre, and signed Anne Graham to the lower right. A yellow adhesive label on the upper right of the relief frame reads HCP Auctions South West Lot 1164. Both pieces bear small white rectangular adhesive labels reading 1080.
Condition report:
The card mount for the Anne Graham print shows a small white mark or area of surface loss at the top right edge (photo 1). The wood relief panel has a prominent vertical drip-like stain on the left-hand side of the background surface (photo 2). Both wooden frames exhibit light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age.
