Lot 836: A Vintage Tan Leather Two-Seater Sofa / Loveseat
A vintage tan leather two-seater sofa / loveseat, upholstered in a caramel-coloured hide. The piece is constructed with a heavily padded, fixed-cushion design, featuring distinctive vertical and horizontal decorative stitching to both the backrest and seat cushions to create a panelled effect. The sofa is flanked by two wide, fully upholstered armrests. A small white rectangular adhesive label is positioned on the top surface of the right armrest, printed with the digits 836. There are no other visible maker’s marks, stamps, or identification labels present on the exterior of the piece.

Condition report:
The sofa is in used condition with moderate surface wear throughout. The leather exhibits significant natural creasing and softening across the seat and backrest cushions, consistent with regular use (photo 1). Several small dark spots and minor surface marks are visible on the seat cushions (photo 2). There is a small white scuff or mark located on the right armrest adjacent to the inventory sticker (photo 1). No structural damage or tears to the leather are visible in the provided images.
