Lot 851: Vintage Neon Gloss Black TV / DVD Combi
A vintage Neon gloss black TV / DVD combi unit. The television features a compact flat-screen design with an integrated side-loading DVD player, housing a screen measuring approximately 19-22 inches. The unit is constructed with a gloss black plastic bezel and features integrated speakers positioned behind a perforated grille along the lower edge. Centrally located on the bottom bezel is the manufacturer’s name, printed as ‘neon’ in lowercase silver-coloured letters. The item is fitted with an integrated power cable and standard UK three-pin plug, and is accompanied by a black plastic remote control. A handwritten identification tag is attached reading ‘TV / DVD Combi 1893’, alongside a printed auction lot sticker reading ‘HCP Auctions South West Lot 851’.
Condition report:
The unit is missing its original table stand (photo 1). The screen surface shows significant accumulation of dust, smudges, and fingerprints across the entire viewing area (photo 1). The gloss black bezel exhibits various surface scratches and scuffs, including a prominent white scuff mark on the left-hand side (photo 1). The included remote control is missing its rear battery compartment cover (photo 1). The unit is offered in an untested condition.
