Lot 852: A Vintage Pine Single-Pedestal Desk / Dressing Table
A vintage pine single-pedestal desk / dressing table constructed from solid pine throughout. The desk features a rectangular top with rounded edges over a right-hand pedestal containing three graduated drawers, each fitted with circular turned wooden knobs. To the left, the desk is supported by a single turned leg with ring-turned detail, creating a kneehole space that includes a shaped, recessed lower shelf supported between the pedestal and the leg. The pedestal is raised on small bun feet. The pine displays a natural finish with prominent knots and grain variations characteristic of the wood. A white adhesive label bearing the printed number 852 is positioned on the top right corner of the desk, and a black electronic component resting on the top bears a similar label numbered 1893. No manufacturer marks, stamps, or origin labels are visible on the exterior surfaces shown.
