Lot 927: A Pair of Vintage Black Leather Motorcycle Touring Boots
A pair of vintage black leather motorcycle touring boots, featuring a tall shaft construction with integrated protective elements. The boots are designed with reinforced gear shifter pads to both toes, accordion-style flex panels at the front of the ankle and shin for mobility, and a side-entry zipper system secured by a large hook-and-loop fastening flap. The uppers are constructed from black leather with a textured rubber sole for grip. An unidentified embossed circular logo featuring a stylized graphic is present on the outer shaft of each boot. The interior contains a black textile tag with an unidentified circular logo above the printed text EURO 43 and 9. The soles are embossed with the number 43 within a hexagonal border. A white adhesive auction sticker is applied to the right toe reading Lot 927 and HCP Auctions South West.
Condition report:
The boots are in used condition. The rubber soles show moderate wear, particularly to the heels and balls of the feet, with accumulated dirt remaining in the treads (photo 3). The leather uppers exhibit typical creasing at the flex points and minor scuffing, notably around the toes and heels (photo 1). There is visible wear and light fraying to the material along the top interior collar of the boots (photo 2).
