A Faithfull Heavy-Duty Flicker Machine, designed for the manual application of Tyrolean and other textured wall coatings. The tool features a blue moulded plastic housing with an integrated carrying handle and a manual hand-crank assembly topped with a black knob. The body bears an adhesive label with the printed text “FAI FLICKHD”, “FAITHFULL QUALITY TOOLS”, and “Heavy-Duty Flicker Machine”. The words “TYROLEAN MACHINE” are also embossed into the plastic casing. The internal mechanism consists of a central axle with multiple rows of spring-loaded flicking tines, which rotate when the handle is turned. The exterior displays clear signs of previous industrial use, including surface scuffing and ingrained residues from building materials. A piece of green adhesive tape is attached to the handle.
**Condition Report:**
The machine shows significant signs of previous use and wear. There is widespread surface scuffing and ingrained dust across the blue plastic housing (photo 1). Dried white residue from building materials is visible around the crank assembly and on the lower portions of the casing (photo 2). The adhesive label on the side is intact but shows some edge wear and minor soiling (photo 2). A piece of green adhesive tape remains attached to the carrying handle (photo 1). The mechanical integrity of the internal flicking mechanism has not been tested, but the crank handle appears to be securely attached.
