Lot 59: Beldray Aluminium Folding Three-Tread Stepladder
Beldray aluminium folding three-tread stepladder designed for domestic and light trade use. The structure is built from extruded aluminium stiles with a rectangular profile, housing three wide, corrugated non-slip treads and a larger top platform. This platform acts as the primary standing surface and is integrated into the folding mechanism, which allows the ladder to be stored flat. The frame is reinforced with steel rivets and features blue plastic safety caps on the feet and protective covers over the hinge joints. The uppermost platform surface features an embossed mark reading ‘Beldray’ in a sans-serif typeface. The unit shows substantial evidence of prior use, particularly from painting and decorating tasks, with the natural aluminium finish largely obscured by multi-coloured splatters.
