Lot 76: Two Cast Iron Decorative Garden Items
A pair of cast iron decorative garden items, comprising a sunflower wall pocket and an owl-themed dinner bell. The wall pocket is designed as a rustic pitcher filled with three textured sunflowers, retaining traces of yellow polychrome paint to the petals. The owl dinner bell features a mounting bracket cast in relief with a detailed owl perched on a branch, from which a flared bell with a cast iron clapper is suspended. The clapper is fitted with a simple knotted cord. No maker’s marks, foundry stamps, or signatures are legible on either item.
