Lot 103: A Green Painted Steel Peat Moss and Compost Spreader Roller
A green painted steel peat moss and compost spreader roller, of the type used for lawn top-dressing. The tool consists of a cylindrical drum constructed from expanded diamond-pattern steel mesh, mounted on a tubular steel frame with a manual push handle. The T-handle is fitted with two black textured rubber grips. One end of the drum features a hinged access door secured with a simple metal latch. The green painted finish is worn, particularly on the solid end plates which bear white characters applied vertically; the letters ‘L’, ‘A’, ‘W’, ‘N’ are legible, while the following characters are obscured.
