Lot 125: An Assortment of Potted Flowering Garden Plants
An assortment of potted flowering garden plants, including specimens of Digitalis purpurea and Argyranthemum. The collection features a tall foxglove with a central flowering spike bearing multiple bell-shaped purple blossoms, each with characteristic spotted interiors. Accompanying this are several Marguerite daisies displaying bright yellow flower heads with orange-yellow centres and finely divided green foliage. A small Heuchera specimen with dark burgundy leaves is also included within the group. The plants are held in terracotta-coloured plastic nursery pots and arranged in a black plastic carrying tray. A yellow plastic plant label is present in one pot, but the characters are not clearly legible. The plants are presented in varying stages of bloom, with the foxglove showing open lower flowers and developing upper buds, while the daisies provide a dense coverage of yellow ray florets.
