Lot 181: An Assortment of Ceramic Planters and Garden Wares including Heritage Garden Pottery
A collection of outdoor garden items comprising ceramic planters, a saucer, an enamelled jug, and a watering can. One cylindrical ceramic planter features a white glazed exterior and terracotta interior; it bears an impressed circular seal on the side containing a central stylized tree motif surrounded by the text HERITAGE GARDEN POTTERY. A second bulbous white glazed ceramic planter is decorated with relief-molded foliage and berry motifs and contains a quantity of smooth, light-coloured river stones. A third rounded ceramic planter has a dark blue glazed body, a white rim, and sgraffito decoration depicting a sun motif. The lot also includes a large, shallow glazed ceramic saucer with a white rim and tan-coloured interior. A tapered white enamelled metal pitcher or jug is included, featuring a black rim and a single handle; a small yellow rectangular adhesive label is attached near the spout. The final item is a large green molded plastic watering can with two handles.
