Lot 195: A Pair of Weathered Cast Stone Pineapple Motif Garden Urns
A pair of cast stone garden urns of campana form. Each urn features a body decorated with a repeating relief pattern of overlapping scales, resembling the husk of a pineapple or artichoke. The bodies are raised on integral, stepped circular pedestal bases with fluted collars. A single drainage hole is present at the centre of the base of each urn. The interior shows the coarse texture of the cast stone material. No makers marks or signatures are present on either piece.
