Lot 207: An Assortment of Glazed Stoneware Planters and a Small Cachepot
An assortment of glazed stoneware planters and a cachepot containing desiccated plant material. The group comprises a cylindrical planter with a two-tone finish, featuring a smooth sage-green glazed upper section and a horizontally ribbed tan base intended to mimic natural bamboo. Multiple similar planters are present with dark blue glazed upper sections over matching ribbed tan bases. The collection also includes a tapered cylindrical planter finished in a uniform pale blue glaze, and a small cylindrical ceramic vessel with an off-white glaze. A detached retail plant tag with a barcode and printed text is present, though the characters are not clearly legible. No maker’s names or factory marks are visible on the ceramic bodies. Each vessel contains the dried and desiccated remains of various plants.
