Lot 250: A Square Cast Stone Bird Bath with Rose Motif
A square cast stone bird bath with rose motif, comprising a shallow square basin and a matching pedestal base. The upper section is a square-form basin with a shallow interior, resting upon a square-section pedestal. The pedestal is supported by a stepped square plinth base. It is constructed from a reconstituted cast stone with a granular, sandy texture. The centre of the basin features a relief-moulded motif of a single rose bloom on a stem with leaves. This floral design is repeated on the pedestal within a recessed rectangular panel. The plinth is further detailed with a continuous egg-and-dart moulded border along the upper edge.
