A cast stone lion’s head garden wall plaque, designed as a classical architectural relief. The piece is constructed from reconstituted stone with a textured, sandy surface finish. The sculpture depicts a lion in high relief with a stoic facial expression and a heavily stylised mane composed of thick, overlapping tufts. It exhibits a natural, aged patina with significant orange-brown staining concentrated in the recesses and around the muzzle, characteristic of long-term outdoor exposure. The reverse is flat for wall mounting. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the exposed surfaces of the item.
