Buyer's Premium:

A mixed collection of British domestic ceramics, stoneware, and glassware. The lot includes a pair of blue and white transfer-printed earthenware jugs decorated in Spode’s Italian pattern, depicting classical Italianate ruins within a floral and scroll border. One jug bears a blue printed oval mark to the underside reading COPELAND SPODE’S ITALIAN ENGLAND, an impressed number 24, and a blue printed mark 6T.

Also included is a blue and white transfer-printed earthenware plate featuring a border of oriental dragons interspersed with scrolling floral sprays around a plain circular well. The reverse is stamped with a blue printed mark reading CAULDON ENGLAND ESTD 1774 beneath a lion and unicorn crest, alongside hand-painted red pattern marks x 91.

Further items comprise a large terracotta teapot with a fitted domed cover and button finial, featuring a dark brown relief-moulded sprigged band of stylised foliage to the shoulder; a cylindrical salt-glazed stoneware bed warmer with an ochre-brown glazed finish; an earthenware bowl decorated with a marbled slip finish in swirling brown, ochre, and cream tones; and a small cylindrical clear glass vessel.
