A set of five graduated hand-thrown stoneware bowls from Wensleydale Pottery in Hawes, North Yorkshire. Each bowl is finished in a mottled matte glaze featuring deep blue and pale lilac-grey tones. The interiors display prominent concentric throwing rings from the production process, and the underside of each piece reveals the unglazed, buff-coloured stoneware body. The bases bear an impressed circular mark which reads WENSLEYDALE POTTERY HAWES YORKS around a central two-line inscription reading HAND MADE.
