Lot 552: A Mediterranean-style three-light hand-painted ceramic and metal hanging chandelier
A three-light hanging chandelier featuring ceramic components and a metal armature. The fixture comprises a central ceramic dome-shaped body with a white glazed ground, decorated with hand-painted floral sprays in blue, red, and yellow with green foliage. The dome is embellished with concentric orange and blue bands and a series of pierced quatrefoil cutouts around the midsection. A central metal rod passes through the ceramic elements, supporting three scrolling metal arms that curve upwards to hold light sockets. The chandelier is finished with smaller matching ceramic elements at the top and bottom terminals and a metal loop for suspension. The three candle-style light sockets are fitted with plastic faux-candle sleeves. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the ceramic or metal components.
