Lot 572: A Collection of Die-Cast Model Vehicles and a Model Train Carriage including Corgi and Lledo Examples
A collection of die-cast metal and plastic model vehicles. The lot includes a Corgi 1:43 scale Ford Zodiac saloon car finished in a two-tone white and yellow livery. It is housed in a clear plastic and card box printed with CORGI, DETAILED 1:43 SCALE DIECAST MODEL, and Saloon cars. The inner card is printed with FORD ZODIAC – Yellow/White and the reference number 01602. The box front bears a red and white printed adhesive retail label reading SALE WAS 11.99 NOW 6.99. Also present is an English-made die-cast promotional truck in a black and blue livery representing the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The truck features white side decals reading ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION alongside an RNLI flag graphic. It is contained within a blue card window box with a header printed with Lifeboat and a base front printed with DIE-CAST MODEL MADE IN ENGLAND BY LLEDO PLC. The collection further comprises a loose die-cast promotional van finished in cream with green fenders and red wheels, bearing the red Kellogg’s script on the front and Kellogg’s CORN FLAKES with a multi-coloured cockerel logo on the sides. Completing the lot is a model railway carriage styled as a high-speed bullet train, finished in white with a blue longitudinal stripe, housed in a clear plastic protective blister case.
