Lot 595: A Jersey Pottery hand painted ceramic table lamp
A Jersey Pottery hand painted ceramic table lamp featuring a waisted, flared body decorated with stylized floral motifs in shades of blue and green. The design is set against a pale blue ground with broad vertical teal stripes. The lamp is fitted with brass components, including a B22 bayonet bulb holder and a metal shade carrier. A white electrical flex leads to a UK three-pin plug. The underside of the lamp is covered in green felt which bears a gold-tone mark consisting of the word JERSEY arranged in an upward arc above a central device of a pitcher and bowl, with the word POTTERY in a downward arc below. This item is sold as a collectible and should be professionally safety tested by a qualified electrician before use.
