Lot 613: A Large Whipstitched Tote Bag in Hair-on-Hide and Crocodile-Effect Leather From Juan Antonio
A large rectangular Juan Antonio Traveller Tote bag featuring a dual-textured exterior. One face is finished in hair-on-hide with a natural tan and brown colouration, featuring a prominent central white stripe characteristic of springbok hide. The opposing face is constructed from dark brown leather with a crocodile-effect embossed pattern. The bag is assembled with decorative dark brown leather whipstitching along the top and side seams. Two flat dark brown leather shoulder straps are attached to the body with square leather patches. The interior is lined with a dark brown fabric and is organised into three sections by a full-width central divider pocket with a silver-tone metal zip. Additional features include interior slip pockets and a magnetic snap closure at the top edge. No maker’s marks or labels were visible at the time of cataloguing.
