Lot 658: A Mid-20th Century Orange Bubble Glass and Wood Table Lamp
A mid-20th century orange bubble glass and wood table lamp. The lamp features a prominent, tall cylindrical glass shade in a vibrant orange hue, characterised by a distinct high-relief pustular or bubble texture throughout the exterior surface. This shade is mounted upon a slender dark wood stem, possibly teak or rosewood, which terminates in a matching circular wooden base with a metal collar at the junction. A black foam gasket is positioned around the top rim of the glass shade. The lamp is fitted with a vintage two-core white electrical flex. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on either the glass body or the wooden base.
