Lot 800: A Collection of Sewing and Utility Tools including T. Wilkinson & Sons Pinking Scissors, a Stanley Staple Gun, and a Vintage Wooden Sewing Chest
An assortment of sewing and craft supplies housed in a mid-toned wooden sewing chest. The chest features a yellow upholstered hinged lid and a single lower drawer with a circular metallic knob. Within the chest is a pair of pinking scissors in their original cardboard box, which is printed with The Wilkinson Pinking Scissors, Made in Sheffield England, and the maker name T. Wilkinson & Sons Ltd. Sheffield England. Also included is a metal Stanley Sharpshooter staple gun with a red handle and a locking switch. A clear glass jar, originally for Capri Continental coffee, contains a large quantity of assorted loose buttons in various colours, materials, and sizes. Further items include a retail-packaged needle and thread kit on a pink heart-patterned card, a large bundle of pink decorative lace trim, and a small fabric pouch with a repeating geometric pattern.
