Lot 913: A Mahogany and Inlaid Drop-Leaf Side Table
A mahogany drop-leaf side table in the late Georgian style. The rectangular top is designed with canted corners and features a cross-banded border with double boxwood stringing. A visible hinge seam indicates the presence of a drop-leaf. The apron is decorated with boxwood stringing. The table is supported by square tapered legs, each ornamented with an inlaid rectangular panel to the upper section and vertical boxwood stringing running down the length. The primary timber is mahogany, contrasted with light-wood decorative inlays.
