Lot 948: Two 20th-century wooden side tables in Queen Anne and Jacobean Revival styles
Two 20th-century wooden side tables of differing period revival styles. The first is an occasional table in the Queen Anne style, constructed from a mahogany-toned hardwood. It features a serpentine top with a scalloped edge, supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, which are joined by a shaped, flat central stretcher. The second is an early to mid-20th-century Jacobean Revival style side table constructed from oak. The rectangular top is bordered by a heavily carved gadrooned edge. The base consists of four square-section legs with fluted detailing, joined by a traditional H-stretcher. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on either piece.
