Lot 958: A Contemporary Stained Pine Bed Frame
A contemporary stained pine bed frame, comprising a headboard, footboard, and an integrated set of mattress slats. The headboard and footboard feature arched top rails with moulded edges, supported by squared upright posts with rounded corners. Each post is surmounted by a turned spherical finial. The solid pine construction shows characteristic grain patterns and knots throughout, finished in a honey-toned stain. The wooden slats are linked by a white textile ribbon for spacing. The side posts are pre-drilled with holes for bed bolt assembly. No manufacturer’s marks or labels are visible on the wooden components of the bed.
