Lot 1003: A Trio of Mahogany-Finish Nesting Tables with Glass Tops
A trio of mahogany-finish nesting tables with glass tops, designed in a traditional Queen Anne fashion. The set comprises three graduated rectangular tables that fit one inside the other for storage. Each table features a shaped, serpentine-edged top and is supported by four cabriole legs. The largest table has an inset glass panel with a decorative gold-toned border visible beneath the surface. The medium table contains a textured, woven-effect panel beneath a glass inset top, while the smallest table is finished with a solid wooden top. The set is finished in a dark mahogany-toned stain. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
