Lot 1015: A mid-20th century oak multi-compartment storage cabinet
A mid-20th century storage cabinet constructed from quartersawn oak with a medium golden finish, featuring prominent medullary rays throughout the grain. The unit is designed with a three-bay layout. The left section consists of an open alcove with integrated wooden shelf supports above a single inset-panel cupboard door fitted with a metal escutcheon. The central section contains a vertical stack of four drawers. The right section features two vertically arranged inset-panel cupboard doors. All doors and drawers are fitted with dark-stained, rectangular wooden bar handles. The cabinet is built as a single piece and sits on a solid plinth base. There are no maker’s marks, labels, or stamps visible on the exterior of the piece.
