Lot 1031: An Edwardian Carved Oak Gothic Revival Hanging Wall Shelf
A three-tier hanging wall shelf constructed from solid oak with a dark-stained finish. The piece features a shaped pediment surmounted by a central circular boss carved with a quatrefoil motif. The side uprights are shaped and decorated with a continuous repeating carved lobe border. The unit comprises three open-fronted shelves fixed between the contoured supports. A torn paper label is affixed to the backboard bearing the handwritten characters £, 3, ., 6, and 0. There are no maker’s names or other identifying marks visible.
