Lot 1066: A Trio comprising a Pine Framed Wall Mirror and Two Framed Oil Paintings
A collection of wall decor comprising a large wall mirror and two oil paintings on board. The rectangular mirror is set in a wide, moulded natural pine frame showing prominent wood grain. The mirror glass plate is clear. The first oil painting depicts an impressionistic coastal scene, featuring white-washed cottages on a steep green hillside overlooking a small harbour with various rowing and fishing boats. It is set in a flat-profile, cream-painted wooden frame. The second oil painting shows a landscape of wildflowers, including red poppies and yellow flowers, against a pale sky. This painting is housed in a wide, moulded natural pine frame which matches the mirror frame. No artist signatures or manufacturer marks are visible on the front of the items.
