A heavy duty industrial or marine grade rope, featuring a multi-strand twisted construction. The rope appears to be composed of natural or synthetic fibers, such as hemp or polypropylene, with a thick diameter suitable for towing or heavy lifting. It features a professionally spliced eye at one end and a heat-sealed or whipped finish at the opposing terminal. The length is bound in several places with orange plastic twine. A white masking tape label is adhered to the rope bearing the handwritten inscription Approx 25FT and the number 9. Another white adhesive label from HCP Auctions South West features the printed text Lot 075 and the website address www.hcpauctions.net.


Condition report:

The rope shows signs of significant industrial use, including surface fraying and pilling throughout the strands (photo 1). There is notable dirt accumulation and greyish-brown discoloration across the entire length (photo 1). The spliced eye remains structurally intact despite surface wear. The orange twine bindings show some fraying and loose ends (photo 1).
