A set of hardback books comprising the complete series of Harry Potter novels by J.K. Rowling, published by Bloomsbury in London. The collection includes all seven titles: ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’, ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’, ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’, and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’. Each volume is bound in the publisher’s original cloth with pictorial dust jackets featuring artwork by Thomas Taylor, Cliff Wright, Giles Greenfield, and Jason Cockcroft. The ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ volume features the early cover design with gold-coloured foil lettering to the spine and the illustration of a wizard on the rear panel. Several volumes contain handwritten notes on slips identifying them as first editions. The books are octavo in size, featuring the distinctively coloured spine panels characteristic of the Bloomsbury UK editions. The publisher’s name ‘BLOOMSBURY’ is printed at the foot of each spine.
