A collection of turned wood items comprising a traditional Tyrolean Gesteckpfeife (Germanic hunting pipe), a barrel-shaped nutcracker, and a flared wooden stand. The pipe is constructed with a stummel and elbow of polished briar wood featuring a distinctive birdseye grain. It is fitted with a hinged metal cover and rim to the bowl, which is connected to a stem fashioned from a section of cherry wood branch retaining its natural bark. The mouthpiece is carved from horn. A decorative green and cream cord with a tassel is tied around the stem. The barrel-shaped nutcracker is turned from a light wood with a ribbed exterior and features a threaded screw mechanism with a matching turned handle. Completing the group is a smooth-turned wooden stand or vase with a wide, flared rim and a weighted base, finished with a clear polish to highlight the natural grain. The pipe bowl is stamped on the underside of the elbow with the words BRUYERE GARANTIE in capital letters.
