The top surface and drawer fronts are finished in figured book-matched flame mahogany veneers. The frieze contains a central shallow drawer flanked by two deeper drawers, positioned above twin pedestals. Each pedestal door is framed by rope-twist carved columns and opens to reveal cupboard storage, with the entire piece supported on turned bun feet. The accompanying square mahogany stool is upholstered in brown leatherette with brass stud detailing and stands on four turned legs. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
