Lot 851: A Vintage Pine Farmhouse Dining Suite comprising a Table and Set of Chairs

This auction ended on 17 October 2026.

Start price: £10

Estimated price: £10 - £20

Buyer's Premium: 20%

Sold for: £22

A vintage farmhouse dining suite constructed from solid pine with a natural finish. The rectangular dining table features a thick top with rounded corners, supported by a deep apron and four substantial ring-turned bulbous legs. The chairs are of a traditional spindle-back design, each featuring a curved and shaped top rail above seven turned spindles. The solid wood seats are contoured for comfort and are supported by ring-turned legs joined by a traditional H-stretcher. The construction utilises standard late 20th-century joinery techniques consistent with mass-produced pine furniture of the period. The wood displays a prominent grain and various knots characteristic of pine.

Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
