A woven fiber corner laundry basket from the mid-20th century, constructed by Lloyd Loom. The piece features a quarter-round, corner-fitting form with a curved front and flat back, built over a solid wooden internal framework. The exterior is finished in a sage green paint and consists of twisted paper fiber woven over a wire frame. Decorative elements include a twisted braid trim applied to the top and bottom edges, with a circular loop detail at the upper front. The flat, hinged lid is constructed from a solid wood panel and opens to reveal an interior finished in a matching green paint throughout the frame and base. A white adhesive inventory label is present on the upper left edge of the front face, although no original manufacturer’s marks are visible.
