Lot 953: Two Pine and Grey Velvet Dressing Table Stools
Two separate pieces of dressing table furniture. The first is a square-legged pine stool featuring a solid frame with a light honey-coloured finish. The construction includes square-tapered legs with visible tenon joinery at the corner of the seat frame, supported by cross-stretchers on all four sides. The fixed rectangular seat is upholstered in a cream textured woven fabric with a repeating geometric pattern. An adhesive white rectangular label on the frame reads Stool. Pine 2010. The second item is a contemporary circular storage ottoman upholstered in a grey velvet-effect plush fabric. It stands on four gold-tone metal hairpin legs bolted to the wooden composite base. The padded circular lid is removable to reveal an interior storage compartment. A handwritten buff-coloured tie-on tag is attached to a leg reading 2010 Grey dressing table stool with compartment. There are no maker’s marks or manufacturer labels visible on either piece.
