A vintage cantilever toolbox of standard handheld proportions, constructed from sheet steel with a tiered five-compartment internal configuration. The exterior is finished in blue paint and features dual wire loop handles secured by a central hinge mechanism. The structural design utilises riveted steel cantilever arms to the sides, which enable the simultaneous opening of the four upper trays to reveal the larger central base compartment. The interior trays are of simple folded metal construction, typical of mid-20th-century industrial tool storage solutions. An adhesive auction lot label is present on one end face, though no original manufacturer marks, embossed stamps, or patent dates are identifiable on the metalwork itself.
