A cast stone garden ornament of a sleeping cherub, depicted in a recumbent pose. The figure is shown lying on its side with eyes closed and a peaceful expression, cradled within the curve of its own large, feathered wings. The cherub features detailed curly hair and rounded, youthful proportions. The piece is constructed from cast concrete or reconstituted stone with a heavily textured surface finish. A hand-written pink paper label is temporarily attached to the chest, bearing the text Sleeping Cherub 9622 R-£8, alongside a small white auction lot tag printed with Lot 121 and the website hcpauctions.net. No permanent manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the surface.
